This week we will look at the CRB Index chart, a broad proxy for the global commodities market that includes gold and silver, highlighting a bullish trend and recent inflationary breakout and we will look at is the ratio of silver to the CRB.

Gold is once again the preferred investment in Asia, to the detriment of the stock market and real estate. In the West, we're not seeing a gold rush, but rather a rush into technology stocks.

The history of gold spans several millennia and the entire globe. The cornerstone of civilizations, used as a medium of exchange and then as a standard, gold as a currency helped create trust between individuals. As the heart of the global economy shifted, so did the world's gold reserves.
